Choosing the Right Boys Tennis Clothing

I overheard a couple of my tennis parents in a discussion about their boys tennis clothing the other day and one of the things that they mentioned was that they did not want to spend so much money on items that their sons would soon outgrow.

While I tend to agree with them in one sense, that they can get rather expensive in comparison to just everyday apparel that they wear.

However, the kids in most cases want to wear the latest tennis fashions.

This can present a dilemma, so let me offer a suggestion.

For boys, you can still get them the latest boys tennis clothing by getting name brand t-shirts from Nike. These not only offer good quality, they will also still be able to make a fashion statement both on and off the court.

The same thing goes as far as tennis shorts are concerned. There are reasonable prices that can be found for tennis shorts. Just remember that you should purchase them a little larger to allow for growth.

Most of your young tennis star's time will most likely be spent on the practice court rather than at tournaments so don't focus so much on buying the most expensive outfits for practice time.

Save their more expensive outfits for when they start competing in local tournaments.

Choose places like Target.com for less expensive shorts and shirts, so that it will be easier on your pocketbook. That way you won't mind them practicing hours on end so that they can hone their skills.
